[REVIEW] Game - Unlucky Hero

Lately, I've been always playing this offline game. So, I took initiative to write the review. Hehehe

Unlucky Hero

Story Line
The various Powers across the Adamantia continent had long fought one with another in an effort to gain supreme control over the vast regions of land -
Each ruler and monarch thinking of none but themselves and leeching mercilessly off the labor of those citizens within their borders... And as life grew more unbearable, sightings and attacks of ferocious monsters became only more frequent, thus sending the world into a seemingly irreversible downward spiral of despair. Now many generations later, the legend that the High Mage of ancient days was he summoned the monsters from the netherworld has become as fact in the minds of many - an infallible truth. Therefore, those with magical abilities - mages as they known - have become a hiss and byword among men, their numbers having dwindled through countless seasons of hatred, persecution, and torment.

And now, here is our Hero Character named Jasper. Jasper is one young intelligent mage, who doesn't interested with anythings, pessimistic, really unhero, have skill and all but no interest to be hero, only interest to his beloved books. Because he thinks that his books will never betray him unlike other living things. You know, their era, mages had been hated by mens. But his mind changed(?) and he is forced to be a hero after he met Queen Christel Diamont, who governs Aquaria City with love, joyful, and pleased. Christel Diamont from Diamont family who has the Sovereign Ring that has been passed down from one generation to another in the Diamont family as proof of their right to rule the continent. The royal family that once unified the land seems to have nearly faded out of existence  as almost never hear their name these days.
And then our another Heroine, Miss Carnelia Diamont, from her last name, we can already guess, that she is little sister from Christel Diamont. Unlike her sister, Carnelia is a knight which a bit careless, reckless, and foolish.
Kyan, is a man who used to be slave with her wife and be saved by Jasper's father. And Jasper's father died to protect the slaves. And now, he devoted his self to Christel Diamont who receive him and ignoring that he was a slave.
Sardonis, is a man who once lived in Jacinth city, but Lord Tourma (who governs Jacinth City) always set high taxes, and make the people of Jacinth city distress, and Sardonis make a rebel againts Lord Tourma, and he end up hiding in Brigand Haven. And then Sardonis devoted his self to Christel Diamont too.
And then, Jasper and the others, help Christel from the threat, and one by one gain the power, the region, and the territory of another city. And then end up againts Lord Malachi, who descendant from the legend High Mage and governs the Chalcedony army, and conquered an entire country with only a handful of men which had two powerful general, General Lapis and General Sapphira.

Why I like this game?
This game is, as casual, the equipments need to be re-new in every town along the way. but a decent number of sub-quests send the hero to and fro across the countryside. There is no enchance or upgrade equipments. Some skillbook of passive skill can be buy from the merchant. And active skill can we get from the leveling up the hero.
The plot bounces you along with twisty politics, alliances, and betrayal, and there's more than one reversal involved. Cutscenes can be lengthy, though. These characters have a lot to say to each other.
The hero characters don't have highly configurable stats, so Unlucky Hero's twist on the typical turn-based battle system comes through a focus on formations and tactics. Rearranging the characters in different formations changes their offensive and defensive abilities, and tactics are combo moves that can involve two of your four characters. Mixing up the formations and tactics, especially in the many boss battles, keep fights interesting.
Despite the weird naming sense and not too great artwork, this game is real fun. You get it for free trial till some point then you can't play further except you purchased it.
Find it interesting? I do. Not to sure will interest to buy it. Just try the free version first, and maybe you will hooked.
Thats's all for this post. Thank you for reading and good luck !
